Homework at Hawes Down Primary School

Here at Hawes Down, we know parents are always very keen to support their children at home.  One of the best ways to do this is by simply talking with your child about their school day and their learning experiences.

Your children work incredibly hard during the school day.  Therefore, our weekly homework expectations are focused on 3 areas: reading, number/maths and spellings.  Please see the table below which shows what the homework expectations are and the amount of time to be spent on it.
